Description
Progress of your online training.
The ground school training has a logical path through a variety of subjects and chapters, which must be followed. For example, starting with radio navigation is of little utility if you must first understand the fundamentals, such as controlled airspace and weather minima.
Each lesson includes several short videos from an instructor who explains the material.
Throughout the training and in each subject, you have access to quizzes to test your knowledge, practice, and get used to the types of questions that will be asked of you on the Written Exam.
Once you have completed and understand the material in all the modules, do a general review, and test your skill using our practice exams (included in the training).
Do not hesitate to ask questions on the dedicated platform, where an instructor will answer you as quickly as possible.

Our advice
It is important to take notes on what is said during the video. Taking notes will engage you even more and help you memorize the course.
IMPORTANT!
To be able to write the exam at Transport Canada, you must prove hours of ground school but also 50% of the total flight hours, in the case of a commercial pilot, a minimum of 50 hours of flight.
Make sure you get these hours!
Do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to do the flight part with us.
Procedure of the exam at Transport Canada.
You have 1 ½ hours to answer 35 questions.
The exam is divided into two parts into which all subjects are grouped.
| Parts |
Grouped sections |
Passing grade |
| Air Law |
Section 1 – Air law and procedures |
60% |
| Aeronautics – General knowledge |
Section 2 – Airframes, Engines and Systems
Section 3 – Theory of flight
Section 8 – Flight Operations
Section 9 – Human factors |
60% |
In each part you need 60% minimum, and 60% in total.
If in a part, you have less than 60% it is a partial failure, and you will have to retake only this part after having taken lessons with an instructor (according to Transport Canada regulations).
If you fail in 1 or 2 parts, it is a partial failure. If you fail in 3 or 4 parts, you will have to retake the entire exam. In addition, as soon as the total score is less than 60%, it is a complete failure, you will have to retake the entire exam.
It will all be explained to you, do not worry.
